(February 2013 will be our Chinese New Year holiday. Please allow 6 weeks delivery for orders placed today. Thank you.)
By placing and accepting an order, both the Client and DressTailor.com (the Tailor) agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
Once received the online, fax, phone or mail order from the Client, the Tailor should start preparing as soon as possible. By placing an order, the Client confirms that all the measurements and instructions on that order are correct and final. Once placed, an order cannot be cancelled. Only under very special circumstances and in the sole discretion of the Tailor, and provided that the order has not yet entered the preparation process, the order can be canceled upon request from the Client subject to a 20% handling fee (to cover the administrative expenses and credit card company charges etc.). Upon confirmation, 80% of the invoice total will be refunded to the Client. Any change to the measurements or instruction should be made within 24 hours from ordering.
The fit of an order is only as good as the accuracy of the measurements given by the Client. The Client will give EXACT measurements WITHOUT ALLOWANCE.
By placing an order, the Client authorizes the Tailor to debit the payment immediately. The Tailor will start working on the order once the payment has been processed successfully.
Shipping rates and time required are as per Shipping Rates Chart. The Tailor should not be responsible to any delay caused by any uncontrollable factors including lengthened custom clearance, postal delay, and any human or natural disaster. Delivery to Postal Box is not recommended. The Tailor should not be responsible for any delay thus caused.
(E) Return Policy
THE CLIENT UNDERSTANDS THAT DUE TO THE MADE-TO-MEASURE NATURE OF THE GARMENT, ALL ORDERS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE, NOR RETURNABLE, NOR EXCHANGEABLE.
The Client can send the garment to the Tailor for alternation. If there is no change to the original design and no new type of material is necessary, the alternation will be free. The Client and the Tailor are to be responsible for their own shipping cost.
If the alternation is about changing style or adding new material to the garment, the Tailor shall charge a fee which is to be agreed, and the Client will pay the return shipping cost.
Alternation will take 1-2 weeks.
